Mutant Thread Carriage (2026)

The Mutant Thread Carriage is not a total replacement of our Alchemy Carriage, but another flavor of carriage we will offer. No cones, no 6+ yet..... Quad and Dual Thread only.

This Carriage tucks all your threads under the wrapper, giving you full hand access to the rod on top. It does require your wrapper to be mounted flush with the edge of your table. 

The first 4 loops for the thread are all closed loops to make sure when you cut thread, it doesn't drop to the floor. The top eyelets are all our usual open eyelets. 

Our Standard reverse polarized magnets set the tension pushing your thread spool against a real carbon drag. Just like your fishing reel, these drags are butter smooth and reliable. A drag so good, we patented it!  

Quickly swap threads with our knobs and get back to wrapping by remembering how large of a gap you used on each spool. Our carraige does not have a tension rod for reversing you must manually reverse the spools by hand.
